The Opening: Medical Assistant

  • Whether it is scheduling appointments or obtaining insurance authorizations for testing/prescriptions, your role is one of an integral member of a patient’s healthcare experience. At Ocean State Medical, you will work directly with both patients and our doctors to help our members navigate the healthcare system

  • By efficiently communicating with patients and delivering information, you are a knowledgeable patient resource with the ability to resolve day-to-day issues for our team, the patients, and our physicians with the potential to further make our patient's care more enjoyable

  • By taking ownership of your own tasks and consistently following through to make sure they are completed in a timely fashion and with the utmost care, each day you will have the opportunity to continuously learn from your peers, outreach nurses, practice manager, and physicians to consistently improve your performance as well as our team’s
